Features:
Obtain test results within 2-3 minutes.
Valid test results can be obtained approximately 8-12 days after conception (this is dependent upon system hCG levels ± 20 mIU/ml. hCG levels can generally reach this level within 8-12 days after successful fertilization of the egg).
Highly sensitive to 20 mIU/ml hCG. More sensitive than most OTC hCG tests.
FDA approved and CLIA waived for Clinical and Consumer use.
Highly accurate: Greater than 99% accuracy in laboratory, clinical and consumer studies when used according to instructions.

How the Test Works: When a woman becomes pregnant, her body produces a hormone called hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). This hormone appears in the urine shortly after fertilization takes place. The secretion of the hCG hormone increases steadily throughout the first trimester of pregnancy. The Aim MidStream Pregnancy Test is highly sensitive (20 mIU/ml hCG) for the early determination of hCG in human urine.

Before You Begin: Never read test results after 5 minutes.
Read these instructions in their entirety. You must follow the instructions carefully to ensure the correct performance of the test.
Do not open the sealed pouch until you are ready to start the test.
Do not use the test after the expiration date stamped on the package.
Store unopened tests at room temperature (below 86°F). Do not freeze.
The Aim MidStream Pregnancy Test can be used any time of the day, but the first morning urine usually contains the highest concentration of hCG hormone.
Reduce or eliminate your fluid intake at least two hours before testing, to ensure sufficient concentrations of hCG in the urine.

Instructions for Use:
1. Remove the test from the foil pouch.
2. Remove the protective cap from the end.
3. Turn the test stick over so that the Result Windows are facing away from you, to prevent any urine from splashing onto the windows. While the Result Windows are protected by a plastic covering, this is a precautionary measure.
4. Hold the wick portion of the test device in a direct stream of urine for at least 5 to 6 seconds, so that an adequate sample is absorbed by the wick.
5. Put the protective cap back on the test, covering the wick.
6. Lay the test on a flat surface with the Result Windows facing up.
7. Observe the gradual migration of the test sample across the Result Windows. If migration does not start, you need to expose the wick to additional urine.

Interpretation of the Test:
1. Interpret test results at 2-3 minutes. Do not interpret results after five (5) minutes.
2. As the test results begin to develop, a color band will always appear in the Control (C) Window to show that the test is working properly.
3. The Test (T) Window indicates the test results. If another color band appears in the Test (T) Window similar in appearance to the Control Band (C), the result is positive for hCG hormone, and you are probably pregnant!
Positive Result: The presence of color bands in both the Test and Control Windows, no matter which one appears first, means that you are probably pregnant! The line will be obvious and distinct, and will appear in about 3 minutes.
Negative Result: The presence of only one purple color band (Control Band) within the Control Window indicates that you are probably not pregnant, and the test has been performed correctly.
Invalid Result: If a color band does not appear in the Control (C) Window, then the test has not been performed correctly or the test itself has become contaminated.

Important !  A positive result band will always be a darker color than the background of the Test Window. Sometimes one line is darker than the other. Even if one line is very light purple, the result is still positive. The test band must be a clear and distinct line, however, and not a blotch, a shadow or evaporation line. If you are uncertain, re-test in 24 hours with a new test device, or obtain someone else's opinion of the test result.

Test Limitations:
The Aim MidStream OTC Pregnancy Test is not reusable, and must be discarded after use. Use caution in disposal of medical waste material.
The test works only if the instructions are followed precisely.
Although the Aim MidStream Pregnancy Test is highly accurate in detecting pregnancy, a low incidence of false results (positive when no pregnancy exists, or negative when pregnancy is present) can occur.
Check with your doctor if you get unexpected or inconsistent test results.
Oral contraceptives, painkillers, antibiotics and other common drugs do not affect the results of this test.

Questions & Answers:
Q: There are two distinct and clear bands visible on the test, but one band is darker than other. Am I pregnant?
A: Yes!
Q: Can the result change after waiting a certain amount of time?
A: A positive result will not change after the test is completed at 3 minutes. However, in order to prevent any incorrect results, the test result should not be interpreted after 5 minutes. If you are pregnant, an obvious line will form in the test result window within 3 minutes. Lines that form after 5 minutes are called "evaporation lines" and are not valid test results.
Q: If the test result is positive, what should I do?
A: See your doctor to confirm your pregnancy.
Q: If the test result is negative, what should I do?
A: A negative result means that no pregnancy hormones have been detected, and you are probably not pregnant. If your period does not start within a week, repeat the test. If the second test is still negative, and you still haven't gotten your period, you should see your doctor for further advice.
Q: Can I collect urine in a cup instead of holding the test in my urine stream?
A: Yes. Immerse the absorbent pad in the urine for at least 10 seconds and then wait 3 minutes before reading the results.
Q: I see a very faint line, or what looks like a line in the test area. Is this a positive result?
A: If you are pregnant, the test line will be distinct and obvious. Blotches, shadows or evaporation lines are not a positive result. If the line is very faint and you are not sure, you should test again in 36-48 hours, as the line will darken as higher concentrations of hCG hormone appear in the urine.
Q: Can I get a false or misleading result?
A: This should not happen if you follow the instructions correctly. However, if you get the absorbent material wet before using the test, you might obtain an unreliable result. Certain rare medical conditions can also cause a false result. If you repeatedly get unexpected results, you should check with your doctor.
Q: I read the test after about 10 minutes, and I saw a line in the test area. Am I pregnant?
A: No. Results should never be interpreted after 5 minutes. If you are pregnant, the test line will appear in about 3 minutes. Lines that appear after 5 minutes are invalid and are called "evaporation lines".
